Common Questions Answered

1What is the cost of the Islamic Studies Course?
The standard course fee for the Islamic Studies Course is £360 + £25 for course materials.
2Why do you charge course fees?
Nothing is for free! Naturally, there are costs involved in providing any product or service. By charging course fees to our learners, we are able to cover some of these costs. We rely on donations from generous businesses and individuals to cover the rest.
3Why are your course fees quite reasonable?
We feel passing on the real cost of what we provide to our learners would be a barrier to learning. We have therefore set a very affordable fee, covering our remaining costs through other means.
4I cannot afford the full course fee, can I still learn?
No problem. We wish to make Sacred Knowledge accessible to you, regardless of your personal circumstances. If you are genuinely unable to afford the full course fee, don’t let this put you off, just contact us and we will do everything we can to help you.
5Which School of Thought/Law do you follow and teach?
We follow and teach the Hanafi School
6Will there be 3rd party shaykhs teaching?
Our current teachers are directly employed by Ihya College. Initially we will not involve any other Shaykhs. This is so that we can strongly convey who we are, and whose organisation this is. Once we are more established, we will look to hold special seminars with prominent Scholars.
7Class community – How do we create that community feel? Mid session break?
As the session is two hours long, we will have a mid-session break.
8Is there any financial support?
If you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford to pay the course fee, but are a hardworking and committed individual, please contact us, we will do our best to help you.
